Shu Shu…

Shurlee Waters was my adoptive mother. She had always wanted a baby girl, and 10 years after she had my brother, the opportunity to adopt me presented itself. At 48 years old, mom knew what she wanted. To have a daughter and experience a bond like no other.

We sadly lost her to cancer when I was just 11 years old.

When I’ve photographed Mothers and their Daughters, I get into a Zone that is hard to describe. I wish to continue to give this gift to as many women as possible, starting with 50 from now until the end of 2026.

I invite you to my North East Portland Studio or Spray Oregon Studio to create a gift that goes beyond measure. It will be cherished for generations.
